to support the next phase of international growth, we are looking for a seasoned HR business partner to take full ownership of the day-to-day HR responsibilities.

the role

as sr. HR manager, you’ll own the full HR function and steer daily people operations, acting as a true business partner to management and employees, ensuring that our people processes run smoothly, gradually strengthening structure, clarity and consistency across the organisation.

this role suits a senior HR professional who combines hands-on execution with a natural sense for building sustainable frameworks in a creative, entrepreneurial and international environment. please note: this is a stand-alone position. you will be our sole HR professional, without a team, and fully responsible for the entire HR scope.

the responsibilities

people operations

  • act as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters

  • manage personnel administration, including contracts, employee records and documentation

  • support recruitment processes

  • coordinate onboarding, offboarding and internal transitions

  • support absence management and liaise with occupational health providers

  • assist in performance and review processes

  • ensure compliance with labour law, internal policies and HR best practices (national and international, where applicable)

building an HR strategy

  • contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes

  • help structure and improve HR practices in line with organisational growth

  • support initiatives around culture, engagement and employer branding

  • identify HR needs arising from growth and translate them into practical solutions

  • participate in HR projects related to scaling, internationalisation and talent development

profile

• degree at university level (bachelor or higher) in HRM, business administration or a related field

• a minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, ideally as an HR business partner or senior generalist, preferably in a growing or international organisation

• strong operational HR skills and proven business partnering combined with a structured, thoughtful approach

• able to work independently as a sole HR player, without a team, while remaining closely connected to the organisation

• discreet, reliable and people-oriented

• comfortable operating in a creative, fashion-driven environment

• experienced in the rhythm of a founder-led, scaling business — able to balance flexibility and structure while contributing to long-term foundations.

• fluent in english; dutch is a strong advantage
